5 Fictional Characters I Most Identify With
1. Daria Morgendorffer from Daria
Daria speaks the truth. There are an abundance of lines from Daria that convey my views on people and the world around me. With her apathetic, quiet demeanor and extensive wardrobe, we are quite alike. I was even compared to Daria when I was in high school. I just wish I had a cool friend like Jane when I was in high school, or even now for that matter.
2. and 3. Enid and Seymour from Ghost World
Basically, if you combine Enid and Seymour, you get me. They are both lost souls, disconnected from the majority of people, which I can completely identify with. As Seymour said, “I can’t relate to 99% of humanity.” Me too, Seymour. Me, too.
4. George Costanza from Seinfeld
George is my favourite character on Seinfeld. Most of the time, he is the one making me laugh, partially because I can understand what he’s going through. George is a caricature of myself, mainly representing the more, let’s say, undesirable traits that I possess. Maybe I should endeavour to do the exact opposite of everything I normally would do and I’d become highly successful at life.
5. Rex from Toy Story
I can totally relate to Rex’s anxiety, uncertainty, and worry. He is just one big ball of nerves, like me!
